It's 63.78kph, the new speed to beat if you want to be the fastest skier on asphalt.
Towed behind a Ferrari in Spain, World Cup British speed skier Jan Farrell has set a new world speed skiing record on asphalt of 63.78kph. This is his second world record having skied at 104.965kph in May, 2015, to set the World Indoor Speed Record.
Setting sparks flying on the motor circuit in Spain, last week, to set the latest asphalt skiing world record, Jan was riding Giant Slalom (GS) World Cup skis from Atomic. Now somewhat scorched.
