2030 WINTER OLYMPICS IN THE FRENCH ALPS

GAMES OF ZONES

The 2030 Winter Olympic Games will take place in the French Alps with four zones sharing the winter sports disciplines

'Driven by a vision to share the magnificence of the French Alps with the entire world' it has been announced that the 2030 Winter Olympic Games will take place across four zones:

Haute Savoie Zone for Cross-Country Skiing (La Clusaz) and Biathlon (Le Grand Bornand) with a newly developed Olympic Village in Chinaillon.

Savoie Zone for Alpine Skiing (Courchevel and Meribel), Ski Jumping (Courchevel) and Nordic Combined Cross-Country Skiing (Meribel) with a new Olumpic Village to be developed in Bozel. Sliding sports in La Plagne with an existing hotel complex in the Olympic Village (already used in 1992).

Briancon Zone for Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding in Serre Chevalier and Montgenevre with a new Olympic Village to be developed in Briancon.

Nice Zone for Ice Hockey 1 and 11, Figure Skating / Short Track and Curling with a new Olympic Village to be developed in Nice.
