For the hundreds of thousands of international visitors who ski the French Alps each winter, many of whom regularly ski off-piste, this language barrier means critical safety information has been effectively inaccessible, unless you have the patience to attempt to copy and paste the bulletin, which is difficult and run it through Google Translate.

About the Developer
AvalancheClarity was created by Simon Perry, a British ski instructor and guidebook author based in Val d'Isère. Simon is the principal author of the Val d'Isère and Tignes Off-Piste Guidebook, the definitive guide to off-piste skiing in the Espace Killy. Having spent years helping international skiers navigate French avalanche information, he built AvalancheClarity to solve the problem at scale.
