Tributes are pouring in for professional freeride Swedish skier Matilda Rapaport who tragically died after being caught in an avalanche in Farellones, Chile, while filming.

Matilda, 30, was a stella rider on the Freeride World Tour, who remember her as 'the embodiment of excellence, on and off the mountain. She marked the history of female freeskiing and will be deeply missed'

It was two years ago, in October. that the snow world lost extreme skiers, Canadian, Jean-Philippe Auclair, 37, and Swede Carl Andreas Fransson, 31, in an avalanche on San Lorenzo mountain in Patagonia.

They died too young. Doing what they loved. In Style. At Altitude. We salute you. RIP.
