Panda RS2 Polarised Ski Goggles Review

With extra wide vision and two easy swap lens for different visibility, glare reduction and anti-fog technology, Panda Polarised ski goggles tick all the boxes for performance gear

I have a draw full of goggles, but always pull out my favourite for sunny days, and another well-loved pair for low light. I'm usually not a fan of changing lens, often a pain when you're in a hurry to catch the first lift and need to find and fix the appropriate lens.

But when switching lens is a simple case of unclip, remove and clip on the new ones, as with the Panda Optics RS2 ski goggles, which I was trying out for a gear review, then I admit that there's absolutely no need for two pairs. If the light changes during the day, as it certainly has this winter in the Southern Alps, then it couldn't be easier to do a quick pit stop and change lenses.

My niece wore them when she was out snowboarding with us for a week in mid-February. We had low vis cloud, snow and white-out conditions interspersed with blue sky with dazzling white snow glare so she was switching lens, sometimes twice during the day. And she found them a revelation, being able to see in all visibility except, maybe, for faceshot powder!

What I, also, love is the wide panoramic vision because, personally, I wouldn't ride with anything less. You may have spotted the white version also worn by Chemmy Alcott on Ski Sunday. Guys, you may want to go for the black alternative.
