With the lack of new ski wear trends every winter, it's great for saving the planet from waste, but it is entirely possible to fall off our skis or snowboard from boredom wearing the same old shell jacket, puffer and ski pants.

Of course, in Steamboat, Colorado, there's nothing new to seeing skiers in cowboy hats and chaps, as they come straight off the ranch for a downhill round-up. Pro-rodeo skiers head to Steamboat, every year to take part in the Bud Light Cowboy Downhill, promoted as 'part race, part rodeo, part train wreck'. Giddy up there for the next event on the 19th January.
